Christian Dustmann is Professor of Economics at University College London (UCL), Honorary Professor at Humboldt University Berlin, Director of the Rockwool Foundation Berlin Institute for the Economy and the Future of Work (RFBerlin), and Founding Director of the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM). His research has shaped the understanding of migration, education, crime, social interactions, technology and the future of work, income mobility, wage dynamics, and economic inequality.

    CreAM@RFBerlin’s latest report “Employment of Immigrants in the European Union: Progress, Persistent Gaps, and Untapped Potential” got picked up by multiple international media outlets. The report shows that although immigrant employment in the EU has reached its highest level since 2017, Europe is still leaving valuable talent untapped, particularly among highly educated non-EU immigrants and non-EU immigrant women.
